The Atlantic Fire & Smoke Intumescent Strip 15mm x 4mm x 1.05m – Set of 5 in White is a high-performance fire safety sealing solution designed to enhance the fire and smoke resistance of internal and external doors. Engineered to expand when exposed to heat, these intumescent strips help seal gaps around door edges, preventing the spread of fire and smoke and improving overall building safety compliance.
Ideal for use in residential, commercial, and public buildings, this fire door intumescent strip set is commonly installed into door frames or rebates to provide essential passive fire protection. When exposed to high temperatures, the strip rapidly expands to form a protective barrier, helping to contain fire and reduce the passage of smoke between rooms and escape routes.

- All ironmongery installed on a fire door must be fitted without compromising the integrity of the complete fire door assembly. This is particularly important when ironmongery is rebated into the doorset such as hinges, locks and latches. To ensure our CE Certifire latches, dead bolts, locks and hinges are compliant, intumescent kits or pads must be fitted. These kits are flexible and pre-made with cut out lines that can be tailored to the item they are being fitted with. Check the fire rating of the door and ensure you fit the appropriate intumescent protection.
