The Shaker is all restraint - simple recessed panels, no mouldings, nothing more than the design needs. That is exactly why it works almost anywhere, sitting as comfortably on a period home as a modern one. In solid oak it is the understated all-rounder of the range.
Best suited to both period and modern homes - a versatile all-rounder
Whichever style you choose, it is made to order at our own Norfolk joinery - not imported, not bought in. Our craftspeople build each door by hand from European solid oak on a solid oak core, a full 44mm thick, so the door you hang is the door we made.
The oak is slow-grown European timber, kiln-dried for stability so it stands up to the British weather without warping. Branded retailers sell imports and bespoke joiners charge £1,200+ - we sit in between: a real workshop, real oak, at online prices.
