This is our Victorian 4 Panel with its upper panels glazed - the same period proportions, but with daylight let into what is often a dark Victorian hallway. Solid oak below, glass above: the character of the original with the brightness a modern home wants.
Best suited to Victorian terraces with darker hallways wanting more light
Whichever style you choose, it is made to order at our own Norfolk joinery - not imported, not bought in. Our craftspeople build each door by hand from European solid oak on a solid oak core, a full 44mm thick, so the door you hang is the door we made.
The oak is slow-grown European timber, kiln-dried for stability so it stands up to the British weather without warping. Branded retailers sell imports and bespoke joiners charge £1,200+ - we sit in between: a real workshop, real oak, at online prices.
